What will you be doing?

As an Enterprise Account Executive, your job is to identify and qualify sales leads, pitch our award-winning software solutions to a named account base, and manage the full sales cycle for enterprise-level accounts. If you already have proven sales experience, then we want to hear from you!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new prospects and expanding existing accounts by researching prospective organizations to identify the right customer stakeholders to sell to
  • Using consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry and offering unique perspectives on their business
  • Offering customers insights and perspectives on IT needs that are fulfilled by our solutions
  • Using competitive analysis to educate customers on the value of our solutions
  • Continuously pursuing quota goals by working directly with the customer during negotiation
  • Working both collaboratively with dedicated pre-sales engineers and other cross-functional team members to help close business and increase AvePoint's sales volume
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Leveraging existing industry partnerships to grow AvePoint's presence in region
  • Working with internal marketing teams to lead regional campaigns, both in person and remotely

You are tasked with bringing in new business with our largest customers. You will need to be a creative thinker with the ability to spot new opportunities that you can turn into rapid growth. You are someone who takes pride in seeing all of your hard work and strategy development pay off when you see the final results.

Other qualities you'll need to be a fit for this role include:

  • Previous experience in enterprise sales
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the software/technology industry
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build connections quickly to drive consensus for deals
  • Government and Public Sector experience preferred but not required
  • Strategic thinking; the ability to solve problems and anticipate ways to overcome customer pain points and complex deal challenges
  • Strong interpersonal communication; the ability to tailor your communication and deliver presentations based on client needs
  • Excellent teamwork skills; the ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Strong influential skills; the ability to use rational and emotional drivers to orient negotiation conversations in your favor
  • Independence and ownership; is self-directed and takes initiative with minimal direction
  • Determination to surpass performance goals
  • Ability to travel
