About the role

This role is an exciting and newly created position that will report into a very dynamic, passionate and strategic General Manager – Sales. The primary responsibility of the position will be to proactively manage and grow a portfolio of national end users and four major distributor accounts.

In a business that predominantly promote from within, this unique opportunity will allow the successful candidate to enter this organisation at a management level and, if successful, build a small team within 12-18 months.

The role sits within a fast-paced & competitive environment where you can operate autonomously, use your genuine passion and skill for solution-based selling, and proactively drive contract retention.

Duties
  • Actively manage a portfolio of national customers and distributor accounts
  • Develop innovative business proposals for existing and new customers which demonstrate the service and product value
  • Developing new business opportunities within top-tier accounts
  • Complete account plans and business reviews for all national end users and distributors within the portfolio
  • Utilise all planning and reporting tools such as Power BI and Salesforce etc.
  • Develop cross functional relationships with marketing, finance, logistics, supply and customer service teams
  • Liaise on a regular basis with State Managers and field sales team to drive outcomes within account portfolio
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a B2B solution-selling account management role
  • A strong track record of developing and managing multi-million dollar accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of a tier 1 CRM e.g Salesforce
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI
  • Can-do attitude with high level of energy
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Have the drive to progress your career through to senior management
