Home base is Chatswood branch location plus travel to other Sydney metro branches where required

  • Casual position - Mon-Sat hours available 
  • Travel to Sydney branches 
  • $32.47 per hour + 9.5% super + travel allowances 
  • 2 weeks paid full time training in Sydney office 

HCF has an exciting opening for a Customer Service Officer to join our Relief team in a casual capacity. You will have the opportunity to work across our various branch locations in Sydney and metro area, as well as our regional branches at times. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role and is able to travel as required.

About the role

HCF's Relief Team is looking for a professionally presented, positive and engaging Customer Service Officer (CSO) to join their Customer Service Team. As the Customer Service Officer, you will be responsible for providing relief support to branches within Sydney, regional NSW and interstate.

This role will see you providing exceptional service to our customers with their questions and enquiries – both in person and over the phone. You'll be professional and sales focused, working towards achieving personal sales targets.  You will be involved in everything from providing product information, to payments and claims processing. Our team members within our branches are the face of HCF and are fundamental to providing the member experience we strive for.

This opportunity would suit candidates who enjoy a face to face sales environment and are looking for a busy, challenging, yet ultimately satisfying role.  Travel is a regular requirement as you will be providing cover/relief to branches during absences. 

About you

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer with a strong sales background who is able to travel as required to provide relief across our branch locations. You should be flexible and adaptable, and enjoy building relationships and working with different teams. We are also looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Proven sales success in achieving targets and a passion for driving new sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and building rapport with customers is a strength
  • Enthusiasm and aptitude for learning  complex products and systems,
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy working environment.
