About the role

As a leader in transport and warehouse operations, you will use your skills and knowledge to communicate with your dedicated client on how to best achieve their distribution requirements for a wide variety of products.  You will be responsible for providing solutions to all our client needs from customer service processes, to storage of products and the end distribution down to the finest of details.   

You will report to the Business Manager and work with the warehouse, transport, customer service, quality and safety teams to ensure we deliver exceptional service in a safe and efficient manner with every order processed across this national distribution network.

The main duties of this role include:

  • Leading discussions in weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Reviewing and interpreting contract requirements to ensure that agreed guidelines are adhered to
  • Developing solutions for customers and continually developing opportunities to exceed their expectations
  • Liaising with key stakeholders both internal and external to ensure delivery requirements are met
  • Project planning for out of scope projects eg increased volumes, changing of product lines etc to ensure a flawless result

Skills and experience

In order to be successful you will possess:

  • Knowledge and understanding of transport & logistics
  • Understanding of Healthcare industry (highly regarded)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders including the ability to negotiate with suppliers and interpret contract requirements
  • High attention to detail and project management exposure
  • Experience with Lean principals or proven continuous improvement concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to the Linfox Safety standards and values
