Job Description
Reporting to the ANZ Sales Director, key responsibilities:
  • Selling our clients uniques solution into Enterprise and local, state and national government markets.
  • Assisting in the development of the sales pipeline "nationally" through lead qualification
  • Using competitive analysis to educate the customer on the value of our client's solutions
  • Using consultative selling techniques to teach customers about their industry by offering unique perspectives on their business  
  • Working both collaboratively with dedicated pre-sales engineers and other cross-functional team members to help close the sales
  • Entrepreneurial approach to marketing activities and new product developments
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this position, you will:  
  • 5 years b2b sales experience in a software or technology provider selling complex solutions within to a multi-stakeholder, long sales cycle environment. 
  • 2-3 years experience selling into public sector markets is highly desirable, however, a proven track record of consistently achieving seven-figure sales targets into commercial markets will override this. 
  • Well-developed ability to prepare concise, relevant reports and plans to communicate sales plans and performance against targets
  • Career maturity displayed through the desire and hunger to succeed
  • Excellent teamwork skills; the ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team environment
  • Superior oral, presentation and written communication and negotiation skills including the capacity to engage effectively with people at all levels
  • Strategic thinker, self-disciplined and driven to surpass performance goals
