What you’ll be doing 

You’ll be working with Australia’s largest Security provider, servicing industry leading providers across multiple market segments including Government, Financial, Retail and Commercial Real Estate, just to name a few.

This role is a pivotal in-market role, it not only sources new business and engages new industries, it also maintains an eye on existing client opportunities, working closely with our Key Account Management teams to develop superior value propositions. This role is also integral in leading  our tender and bid writing teams in submission of tender proposals. No two days are the same, with your ability to be agile and self-motivated to prioritise and meet deadlines.

What we’re looking for 

We’re looking for someone who can lead from the front, someone who is strong in planning and implementation, but also can adapt and be first to respond when required. From large national tenders, to state and local based business opportunities, we’re looking for someone who is able to adjust to their audience, understand the client’s needs, and provide a solution that exceeds their expectations.

What you’ll need 

  • Core competencies we’re looking for – Integrity, Communication, Decision Making, Leadership and Teamwork
  • 5 years plus business development and sales experience
  • A proven track record of achieving challenging budgets
  • Solid understanding of the security industry and its markets an advantage but not essential
  • Proven commercial/ business acumen
  • Experience in participating in bids and tendering and presenting to senior executives
  • High degree of emotional intelligence, experience navigating matrix organisations.

Qualifications

  • Preferably Degree qualified in business or marketing
  • CRM experience, sales tools, marketing automation a plus.
