The Client:

Our client is an International manufacturer of high-end Aluminium Windows, Facades and associated products for commercial and multi-residential applications. They boast a range of unique products in the Australian market with a number of highly specific features and benefits that give them the edge when securing contracts in various niche applications. As a result, they have supplied a number of the large commercial and multi-residential projects in Australia in recent years. They have seen steady growth in both revenues and GP over the last financial year and now looking to recruit a senior sales person to spearhead their sales operation in Victoria.

 

The Role:

You will be home based in Melbourne and focus your efforts on developing sales with a targeted and specific customer base in the Melbourne metro area with a focus on the Western Suburbs. You will be targeting your efforts on managing relations with the fabricators and builders in both the commercial and residential verticals. Our client has a separate specification team focused on relations with the A&D community. Once the product is specified it will be your responsibility to track and follow these specs through to completion with the tier 1 and 2 contractors and fabricators working on each project. This is a key role and requires an exceptional applicant with a good technical understanding of the industry.

 

The Candidate:

You will be a seasoned professional. It is likely that you will have experience in selling a high-value product within the construction industry and a wide knowledge of the sales process in this space. If you have sold to window fabricators and have relations in this area this will be of particular interest.
