About the role

Be part of the commercial function, that delivers innovative, proactive and insightful decision support and analysis to the business, covering the following areas;

• Profitability analysis and reporting (by product, customer, industry, tier, region/area etc.);
• Commercial support and analysis of customer tenders and proposals (including considering the commercial and operational implications of contractual terms;
• Lead the strategic analysis and insight into customer pricing and margin maximisation (including the related system development) and other projects.
• Promote and work closely with the business areas and the wider financial team.

Skills and experience

Your strong commercial awareness and understanding will set you up for success along with.

• Deep understanding of profitability, customer activities and the commercial customer contract terms.
• Superior analytical and interpretative skills.
• Ability to deal with multi-level relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated and detailed commercial experience, and highly skilled in modelling and systems.
• Significant practical experience in organisations that are complex in nature and evolving in terms of their sophistication regarding their financial tools and practices.
• Relevant experience in an industrial services business
• Degree in Business, commerce or similar
• CPA or CA qualified.
