The Company: One of Australia’s largest re-sellers of IT Hardware is looking to continue their growth in Melbourne.
With a large percentage of the market already, our client has an excellent reputation as a trusted technology advisor with a wide range of solutions to cater to all parts of the education sector.

The Role: A hybrid role of both new business and account management covering East Melbourne.
You will be targeting Primary Schools managing a number of existing accounts who are currently purchasing IT hardware, tablets, laptops etc as well as looking to develop pure new business within your territory.
A typical day will be 5-7 appointments working towards monthly and annual targets.
Liaising with both IT decision makers and academics will be a large part of this role, therefore an element of compassion and excellent communication skills will give you the necessary attributes to work within this competitive market.
This will be a very autonomous position and will suit an accomplished time manager and self-motivator.
This role will inevitably require demonstrations and presentations to clients; therefore you will need to be technically proficient and confident standing in front of peers.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will have sold a product to the education market.
Candidates with a degree will be looked on favourably.
An interest in emerging technologies and will mean you have a natural passion for these solutions.
Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite as you will be speaking with contacts that need to be approached carefully, therefore aggressive tactics will not work well.
