The Opportunity:
As a Senior Commercial Manager with Medibank, you will have the overall responsibility of ensuring the profitability and growth of customer channels business is achieved through sales effectiveness, commercial management and development.
You will make robust commercial decisions on the implementation and directions of the Customer Channel Strategy.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead sales effectiveness and excellence, sales transformation, commercial management and development of new distribution channels and strategic partnerships;
- Drive annual channel sales target setting process;
- Establish and maintain relevant external stakeholder relationships and information networks;
- Lead and drive new commercial analysis and decision making for customer channels;
- Perform post initiative reviews; and
- Use Agile to keep commercial sales transformation initiatives on track and to highlight issues.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience driving sales strategy, planning, effectiveness and enablement in a corporate environment.
You will be a strong communicator, with the ability to influence and build relationships with Senior and Executive Management across the business. You will have the ability to deal with complexity, including use of issue based problem solving and other strategy frameworks to define and solve novel problems.
A background in finance/management consulting and sales will be highly regarded. You will extensive experience and a successful track record in growing profitable business. A post graduate business qualification (e.g. MBA) is desirable, but not essential for this position.
