Our Marketing Solutions Team drives customers in-store and online using our multiple conversion platforms: digital catalogue and letterbox services, eCommerce, Email, and Search. Turning browsers into buyers we provide precise targeting capabilities and a network that can deliver to more than 17 million Australians.

Responsible for securing new and additional business you will build a pipeline and strategy to identify and maximise on revenue opportunities for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers within new business or whitespace opportunities within designated territory
  
• Identify new or whitespace business opportunities that suit the media business within designated territory
  
• Utilise existing marketing and PR collateral to sell the suite of designated Salmat solutions
  
• Maintain awareness of competitor and new market offerings in required channels
  
• Have the ability to develop and grow partnerships through collaborative thinking and strategic planning.
  
• Understanding the client's objectives, buying criteria and decision making processes
  
• Monitoring competitors' Sales and product strategies, campaigns and events to optimise market share
  

Key Criteria

• Demonstrated new business sales and relationship development track record in Media, Print and/or Digital industries. (Online or offline media coupled with a strong understanding of the Australian media landscape.)
  
• Multi-channel marketing experience highly preferred.
  
• Relevant training undertaken in core sales disciplines
  
• Experience in the use of, reporting on and tracking activity through salesforce.com
  
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
