You will report directly to a Senior Account Executive.

 

Your responsibilities as a Sales Development Specialist

  • Qualify and nurture inbound sales leads into high value prospects

  • Prioritise prospects and ensure a smooth handover to Account Executives and Enterprise Sales Manager to close, ensuring leads are confident in their use of the platform

  • Work with the Enterprise Sales Management Team to design industry-specific outbound strategies & map prospective client groups to target, including liaising with our offshore team

  • Respond to email, phone and platform project inquiries from new and existing clients

  • Design, develop (in Marketo) and execute email campaigns to generate new sales prospects

  • Working with the Marketing team to provide regular feedback on the quality of inbound leads

  • Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential clients in SalesForce

  • Allocation of projects posted to relevant Account Executive & Client Partners

  • Schedule meetings between Account Executives, Client Partners and prospects

 

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in related field

  • 2+ years of business experience in sales, marketing or management consulting

  • Experience in a client facing role

 

What you will need to be successful:

  • Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms

  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and telephone skills

  • Meticulously organised, focused and process driven – You obsess about organisation, process and structure. You do not like ambiguity, lack of structure and you ask lots of questions until you get what you need to drive outcomes.

  • Ability to analyze business opportunities and read situations well

  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision making and persuade others

  • Strong attention to detail – your written, oral and visual PPT & Excel skills have been highly honed.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment

  • A strong desire for career in tech sales & growth – this is a fast track launching pad for you into the Account Executive and then Client Partner role

  • Humble, practical, can-do attitude – You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do the grunt work associated with building our business and helping your clients and consultants, in particular given you're the first person in your role.
