About the Role
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Business Development Manager. You will be results driven and actively seek and engage customer prospects, as well as positively maintaining existing clientele. Ideally, the successful applicant will be technically minded and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. As customer service is very important to our client, outstanding skills and experience in this area are highly regarded.
  
This is a home-based role that requires working with a high degree of autonomy and would suit an experienced self-starter. You will also be provided with substantial and continuous training and support to help propel your success.
  
  
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
  • Developing a sales growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction in the access automation market
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance
  • Conducting research to identify new market and customer needs
  • Arranging business meetings with prospective and existing clients
  • Remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
  • Meet agreed monthly targets 
  
To be successful for this role you must have the following:
  • 2 – 3 years prior experience in Sales - experience in selling technical products is desirable
  • Prior Customer Service experience
  • Industry-specific qualification desired but not essential
  • Possess sales, technical and customer service aptitude
  • Ability to build and maintain a good rapport enabling you to form quality business relationships at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ambitious and goal driven
  • Reliability, trustworthiness and honesty
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Deal with customers, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times
