About the Role:

Due to continued growth Blackdot have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, driven and high achieving individual to join the Sales Team as Business Development Associate. The successful candidate will be helping us drive marketing campaign effectiveness through phone sales-based activities, including following through from prospects whom have shown interest in our insights online, through to direct campaign follow up.  This is a great opportunity for a sales/marketing enthusiast looking to gain some valuable experience in a successful organisation playing within the marketing, sales and service transformation space.
 

About You:

This role is ideal for:

• A self-motivated seasoned sales professional wanting to leverage your experience and looking for work-life-balance  
• An upcoming sales associate with a track record of success wanting to expand their skill-set within the management consulting industry

Duties and responsibilities:

• Following up to convert interest in Blackdot insights & content into meetings
• Establishing new relationships with key targets in established client industries
• Promoting attendance at our industry events and roundtable discussions

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a professional, quota-carrying, fast-paced sales environment

• Minimum 18 months B2B sales experience

• Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and KPIs

• Demonstrable excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders/decision makers

• Experience working with databases or CRM systems such as Salesforce.com will be held in high regard

• Proactive with a strong work ethic and personal drive

• Great interpersonal skills with an eye for detail
