Landells Signs has been making and supplying signs to large retailers, corporations, building companies and major events nationally.  Landells Signs was founded over 115 years ago.  We provide high quality service to large businesses that need impactful signs.

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with Advanced cold calling Skills to generate sales opportunities with large corporate prospects. This is a role that will work with a well-established high performance Melbourne team based in Sunshine West.  To be considered for this exciting role you must have a "sales hunter" mentality and experience developing relationships which deliver against sales targets.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have minimum of 3 years’ successful cold calling experience
  • Have at least 1 year’s successful experience cold calling large corporate clients and generating sales from them
  • Possess consistent proven ability to achieve sales targets
  • Have new business development and client management experience
  • Have extensive experience using SPIN and Target Account (Conceptual) selling methodologies
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have Exceptional Presentation Skills in PowerPoint and other methods
  • Be exceptionally organized and demonstrate excellent planning, prioritizing, time management and stakeholder management skills
  • Have similar industry experience and/or business qualifications.
  • Possess a positive, proactive approach.  
  • Be able to proactively contribute to the broader sales team, and work collaboratively with the Production and Estimating teams to resolve challenges

Experience within the signage industry would be an advantage but not essential.  Experience working with/for FMCG/Retail businesses/Construction would be an advantage.
