Metal Mates is a steel retail business recognised throughout the Hunter region for being a solution based business servicing local Builders, Fabricators, small Handymen with contacts also in Government, Civil and Mining Industries.

Metal Mates have been in operation for 20 years, locally owned and operated embarking on growth, initiatives to drive and deliver future sustainability.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Safe operation procedures at all times – Zero Harm
• Data entry, receive and process orders on behalf of customers in an efficient and accurate manner
• Ability to work autonomously and take direction from relevant Manager on duty
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills in all situations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Develop strong relationship with Customers and look to add value at all times to their business
• Respond to Customer emails in a professional manner
• Miscellaneous administration tasks
