What's in it for you?

Full product training on the products will be provided. You will need a proven track record in commercial project sales but the most important aspect for the role will be culture fit, passion for building relationships, tenacity and drive. In this role, you will work with a management team that will give you a level of trust and autonomy to get out and do your day-to-day role. Your base will be $100K - $120K + super + car allowance (including fuel card and tolls on top) and commissions.

What you will be doing:

As Business Development Manager, you will be targeting the commercial market, building a solid pipeline of projects from hospitals, aged care, correctional facilities, commercial office blocks and a diverse range of end-users. You will build key relationships with Architects, Designers and Engineers by chasing project leads. You will be out on the road, face-to-face with customers all day so will need to be able to work with a high level of autonomy and treat it like running a business within a business. You will have access to all the tools and support needed at your fingertips to help in your success.

What you must have to apply to this role:

  • A proven track record in specification sales targeting commercial projects through Architects, Designers and Engineers
  • Ability to structure your day/week and work in a highly autonomous fashion
  • A technical understanding of water solution products

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Experience specifying technical plumbing or electrical products
  • A passion for building new business
  • Hunger to progress in your career and manage your own team
