About the business

Sydney Beer Co. launched in 2016. We are passionate not only about beer, but the city we represent. We are now looking to capitalise upon our successful start, and build a team to grow our brand both North and South of Sydney's CBD. 

About the role

This role will report to the Head of Sales with the key purpose of identifying new venue partnerships as well as maintaining and developing some of Sydney Beer Co.'s on and off premise customers.  

The team at Sydney Beer Co. are looking for an energetic and motivated BDM who is driven by success to take on a region and own it. Your role will include:

- Researching new clients 

- Cold calling 

- Appointment setting 

- Price point negotiations 

- Off premise promotional activities

- Account management and planning

- Creation of venue proposals

As well as the above you will have the opportunity to be part of a business that is growing and influence marketing and strategic decisions.

Skills and experience

- Proven experience (preferred but not necessary) in a similar sales role in a B2B environment - and not necessarily from liquor / FMCG. 

- Experience in cold calling

- Strong planning and negotiation skills

- Enjoys meeting people and has strong interpersonal skills

- Australian drivers licence  

- Self driven and can work autonomously

- Disciplined sales approach 

- Experience in developing a sales region
