We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Sales Specialist, for world’s only integrated technology company to join their Power Generation Services team based in Sydney’s North West. It is a permanent job with attractive salary package and sales incentives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Selling Operational Technology (OT) services, upgrade, expansions and digitalisation solutions for installed base controls and digitalisation systems to customers in the power generation market
- Evaluating highly technical markets and needs of potential and existing customers
- Preparing customer contacts and building/maintaining a customer focused network
- Investigating and evaluating specific business opportunities for products, solutions and services
- Conceptual design of customer solutions for potential projects
- Sound market price knowledge and investigative skills
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following selection criteria:
- Extensive technical engineering experience across Operational Technology (OT) systems within the power generation, large scale industrial and / or oil & gas industries
- Demonstrated experience in controls and Operational Technology systems (Essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of the products, solutions and services in these markets
- Proven sales track record in this highly technical space, someone who has good expeirence in selling solutions rather than products.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build sound working relationships
- Formal Electrical Engineering or Business Qualifications (Preferred)
- 3 years proven industry experience selling solutions in this section
- Willingness to travel frequently within Australia
