  • $95,000 - $115,000 (Depending on experience)

Role

This is a great opportunity for a proactive person with plumbing product knowledge mixed with the ability to influence, communicate effectively and drive new business with existing and new clients.  You will be working closely with Estimating, Sales, Engineering, Operations and Service staff to foster these opportunities into a compelling offering for our clients.

As a new business specialist, you will ideally have key contacts within the tier 1 building, commercial developer, A&D and major contractor markets as this will cement your ability to win projects across VIC.

 

 

Duties

 

  • Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with prospective clients, existing customers, consultants, builders and suppliers to cultivate new business opportunities ultimately driving sales
  • For short and long term opportunities, manage the opportunity from end to end
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Sales Manager about current activities, future prospects and market intelligence.
  • Participate in marketing and communications strategies and activities.
  • Foster and promote the company, product and brand presence in the market.
  • Promote and work with Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform quality standards in all areas of the business.

 

Skills & Experience 

 

  • Knowledge of “back of wall” plumbing products is essential.
  • Knowledge of service delivery essential.
  • Business development and account management experience essential.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written & verbal).
  • Experience with producing accurate and timely proposal / response documentation.
  • Work within a "Team" environment.
  • Attention and eye for detail combined with a high level of accuracy.
  • Computer skills with good knowledge of both Word and Excel and CRM.
  • Professional attitude to customer service.
  • Positive and cooperative attitude towards the tasks, management and team members.
  • Current valid driver's license.
