What's in it for you?
This is an exciting opportunity to start a new role for the new financial year and join a driven sales team across Australia. The base on offer is $75,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience) + super + FMCV or allowance and a commission structure that will see you earning atleast $120,000. The commission is uncapped so you have the potential to earn $150,000 or more. You will travel across Central and North Queensland and enjoy a highly autonomous role with excellent earning capabilities. They are a progressive organisation with an excellent management team across Australia and need someone to take on and grow this warm territory. It’s a fantastic time to be jumping on-board!

What you will be doing:
As the Business Development Manager for Central and North Queensland you will be selling a quality range of capital equipment, mainly to the industrial, construction, local government, warehousing/logistics and any business with fleets of trucks. You will target small and medium to large accounts across the territory. They invest in their products, people and will give you all the tools needed for success. You will divide your time across Central and Northern QLD evenly with some Brisbane accounts included, so you must be prepared to travel. They will offer you a very supportive culture, a high level of autonomy and a large territory to work across; if you can grow this successfully, you will have a very healthy career plan laid out for you.

Who you will be doing it for:
They are a very well established global player selling specialised capital equipment for the industrial, government, building/construction space. They are a manufacturer and supply and install their products globally. You will be part of a leading national sales team and as you would expect given their profile, they have all the support and resources needed to achieve your goals and success. This is an important role as part of their growth plans and will give you an opportunity to grow your career with a market leader.

What you must have to apply for this role:

  • Be a self-starter and enjoy hunting new business opportunities
  • A proven track record of sales and a good technical aptitude
  • Experience selling bigger ticket items such as capital equipment/buildings/machinery
  • Happy to travel across Central and North Queensland
  • Good commercial acumen and driven sales attitude

You will be highly regarded if you also have:

  • Contacts within the construction, industrial, mining, local government or any companies with large truck fleets
