Major Account Manager– Melbourne based
Our client is a global supplier to the home improvement industry who pride themselves on innovation and investment in new product development. The company’s products are distributed through the home improvement and industrial sectors.
They are seeking a results-orientated Major Account Manager to help manage the day to day relationships with national retail accounts. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and by working with our sales, marketing and innovation teams deliver positive outcomes for our retail partners.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications, sales or marketing experience and be able to demonstrate the following experience and capabilities:
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Successful track record of sales, category or business development
- Experience working with national retailers such as Bunnings, Mitre 10, K-mart, Big W, etc
- Strong analytical skills to compliment range review submissions
- Extensive planning and organizational skills
- Competent IT skills – experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability to work independently
