The company:

Our client, TLE Electrical in Caringbah, is part of the leading distributor of electrical and data components and equipment in Australia, MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM). With a national branch footprint of over 250 stores, MMEM operates brands include TLE, Haymans, AWM and D&W, their success is a result of an ability to build strong customer relationships, demonstrate industry knowledge and provide a high level of service.
 
The Role:

Are you looking to advance your career path in the electrical wholesale industry? Do you have strong electrical knowledge that you would like to use in a sales role? TLE Caringbah is seeking an enthusiastic self-driven internal salesperson to provide efficient and exceptional customer service, primarily in the counter sales area.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provision of customer service, including effectively actioning customer requests and inquiries
  • Liaison with suppliers
  • Raising sales documentation in a prompt, legible and accurate manner
  • Accurate invoicing; generating required credit notes; and debt collection
  • Promotion and sale of TLE’s products
  • Providing relevant advanced technical quotes
  • Stock control including some minor store work assisting with re-stocking shelves and packing orders
  • Assistance with additional tasks and management requests as required
Essential Criteria:
 
The ideal candidate is a dedicated worker with a passion for sales and providing exceptional service. Strong electrical product knowledge and wholesaling experience will be highly valued. You will have a strong work ethic and the desire to become a valued team member in a dynamic customer service environment.
 
You will have:
  • Adequate knowledge of the company’s products, or the ability to build sufficient knowledge quickly
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills and a professional manner
  • The ability to learn and use the Point of Sales systems efficiently, as well as calculate a contract price for customers
  • The ability to identify and action opportunities for making additional sales
  • Great rapport and relationship building abilities
  • Strong time management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The capability to work both autonomously and within a team
  • Electrical wholesaling experience will be a strong advantage
