The Client:
Our client is a market leading civil engineering and maintenance solutions provider. They are well financed and are anticipating rapid growth in their ANZ operation during the next year. Able to cater for both small commercial and large infrastructure projects they have a wide scope and can boast market-leading status. As such they are now looking to recruit a technical sales person to target both commercial and residential projects in Western and Southern Sydney.
The Role:
You will be based (home office) and the focus of your customer base is in the metro area, however, you will be required to travel regionally in order to meet your customer’s requirements. The role is varied in the sense that you will be focused on both horizontal and vertical relationship building within the commercial and residential sectors. This means you will be dealing both B2C and B2B with the tier 1 and 2 Consulting Engineering firms, Commercial & Civil Builders and End Users (Asset Owners). They have a strong brand in the market and enjoy a large and increasing market share in this highly lucrative, niche sector.
The Candidate:
You will be a seasoned professional and will be well regarded within your industry. You will be technically minded (ideally a qualified Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician etc) and you are able to read technical drawings. Full product knowledge can be taught if you have the sales experience in the construction industry.
You will have the ability to out-earn your peers who work in less profitable parts of the building supplies sector, top performers in this business are earning in excess of $200k.
