Here is a great business development opportunity for a successful BDM in B2B who can use data to sell into the travel and outdoor leisure industry across Australia.
This app has become the market leader in its field in New Zealand and has recently launched into Australia.

You will be supported by a team of six including developers.

The business is owned by a large digital tourism organisation which operates in the USA and New Zealand, as well as Australia.

Initially, your task will be to work closely with the CEO in a review of the sales and marketing strategy.

The FY19 goal is to grow consumers and businesses in both markets to drive new revenues through three streams:
- white labels, sponsorships and geo-targeted advertising sales to businesses 
- better booking functionality
- a premium version of the consumer subscription

Targeted clients will be marketers of products and services in the travel and leisure sector. A key secondary audience will be media and digital agency executives who recommend spend placement to clients.

You will have
  • A proven track record in B2B face to face consultative selling
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
  • The capacity to think strategically and to identify new opportunities
  • Experience in structuring successful prospecting campaigns using cold calling
  • Experience in giving engaging presentations to sell a business proposition
The CEO is based overseas so you will have a preference and willingness to work autonomously and be a proactive self-starter.
