Redken leads the professional beauty industry with our street-smart products and passionate, talented people. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who wants to help us promote our products in an Area Sales Manager role. You'll put your skills to work in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere as you collaborate with dynamic, creative professionals. In this role, you will develop the territory of Melbourne metro and the supporting suburbs, with max 3 nights away to country clients in Gippsland. The Area Manager will represent Redken by selling, and merchandising, and educating salon products to all assigned outlets within your territory with a country trip to secure maximum volume and product distribution.
Whilst this is a market leading brand with an established base we are looking to grow the area and require an aggressive sales professional who is not afraid of the challenge on knocking on new doors daily.
With a flair for sales, you will inspire our clients into being the best in the salon market. Your responsibilities will include:
- Effectively driving sales within established client-base,
- Evaluating and securing opportunities for new business
- Assisting our partners’ business growth by adding value through strong relationships and professional marketing support.
- Achieve monthly sales targets
- Visit regional areas on a cyclical basis, which will require overnight travel between 1- 3 nights per month (maximum)
The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have the ability to communicate and negotiate at a high level, as well as the ability to present and engage with clients. There is significant training available but you will need to be a natural self-starter, not afraid to meet new people and open new customer accounts. Ideally, you will have held a similar role within the Hair Care / FMCG industry although a strong sales background and the right attitude is crucial.
