A little about the role:

Due to continued growth and success of our client, they are looking for a BDM - Digital to join the team.

Firstly, you will be provided with loads of warm leads. This position requires a consultative solution-based Business Development Professional who has experience in working in digital and or marketing technology and is responsible for the growth and development of new business by engaging of new clients through referrals, warm calls, and other. This position is critical to ensure the continued growth and success of the organisation but also an opportunity to create genuine partnerships with future clients.

This opportunity comes with unparalleled support, opportunity, and very achievable targets. You will conduct all the necessary activity, you will be familiar with, in order to continue to drive this business forward and unlocking opportunities to assist clients in achieving their digital strategy with SEO, SEM and Social.

More specifically, you will:

  • Conduct the necessary sales activities to obtain meetings
  • Conduct a thorough business needs analysis and explain features and benefits
  • Manage your CRM system to a high level in order to ensure the proper follow up activity is conducted and reported
  • Engage well with clients over the phone and face to face
  • Prepare client briefs and proposals to a high level in show how to improve their marketing and digital spend so they can deliver the highest ROI
  • Work autonomously and demonstrate  initiative in your role to grow the business
  • Be proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

A little about you:

You should be a hunter, and yes again the OTE is being achieved by all sales people at the company!

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years sales experience in a digital agency environment selling SEO, SEM and other. You will have the ability to listen and provide effective solutions to clients be a self-starter, have a positive attitude and care about ensuring a good ROI for clients. You will also be looking for a genuine career opportunity with a company that has a history of rewarding and taking care of its staff.

Key requirements:

  • Have at least 2 - 3 years of solution sales experience as a BDM in a digital marketing agency/technology environment
  • Has experience in building relationships with potential clients via warm calls, networking and other avenues
  • Keen interest in all digital marketing
  • Ability to not only convert leads but also proactively develop new ones
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to customise sales pitch for different client and industry needs
  • Ability to manage sales process from opportunity to approved estimate
  • Proven experience dealing with clients
  • Dedication to providing lightning fast professional responses to all leads
  • Persistent approach to time management
  • High levels of enthusiasm, energy and resourcefulness
  • Excellent planning, organisation and computer skills
  • High degree of accountability and attention to detail
