Experienced Sales Manager - Solar Wholesale and Commercial

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be based within the commercial side of the business. Liaising with new and potential clients, with the ability to onboard your own adding major value. You need to have outstanding communications skills and a solid knowledge of Solar products. A vital member of the team generating new leads and sales.

 

In this position you will be required to:

 

  • Generate new leads and potential customers
  • Ability to inform potential customers of products and secure sales
  • Have extensive product knowledge
  • Promote specials and company brand/products
  • Finalize quotations
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers
  • Coordinate expediting of deliveries for major clients
  • Communicate with staff in other divisions to ensure the customers get the best service
  • Assist customers and staff with technical advice
  • Liaise and support existing customers
  • Follow up with customs to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Provide weekly business updates and progression plans
  • Travel occasionally and attend networking events/conferences

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Fantastic solar knowledge -
  • Be able to identify the biggest and best potential clients to grow your own sales
  • A background in sales/ Solar sales
  • A degree in a relevant field (preferred)
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • Organization skills and problem solving skills
  • Great computer and data entry skills
  • Able to work in a team
  • Well-presented and punctual
