About the opportunity
As the Key Account Manager for this globally recognised company, you will take responsibility for metro Sydney and wider NSW territory. Utilising your strong business acumen, you will create and implement a territory plan to increase awareness and demand for a range of animal health products to veterinarians and their clinics. Through your extensive knowledge of the products, you will build effective relationships and demonstrate how these products are a necessity in providing optimal healthcare for pets.
Responsibilities
- Drive success for the placement of your pet care products into the veterinary channel
- Manage existing accounts and win new business across veterinarian clinics
- Achieve agreed targets and KPIs
- Manage and target clinics across Sydney and in NSW
- Territory management including planning, prioritising and reporting
Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in face to face sales, with a focus on business development
- Experience must be from within the veterinarian, pet retailer or animal health industry
- Solid record of working to and exceeding KPI’s.
- Ability to open new accounts and drive growth
- Tertiary qualifications preferred in the areas of science or business
