About the role

Yokogawa's BDM - Major Projects is a proven sales professional, committed to increasing our market share throughout ANZ by driving new business growth across all major industries which Yokogawa ANZ holds a presence. They will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.

Maximizing commercial opportunities with major clients targeted within the industrial automation field, they will also support and implement the company's sales team's strategy.

While being a strong external ambassador for Yokogawa ANZ, success will be measured in this role by achieving early positioning where competitive advantage for the business is secured, application of innovative solutions, use of media tools, and being focused on the execution of the "pursuit process".

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have outstanding presence in the market and ability to lead and close a complex sales process through consultative value selling. Yokogawa's BDM - Major Projects will posess;

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good exposure to the execution of strategic projects and Main Automation Contractor (MAC) proposals.
  • Excellent consultative selling and value proposition development capability.
  • A proven sales track record in winning major projects.
  • A demonstrated ability to take ownership of work.
  • A proven track record in process driven industrial sectors.
  • Appropriate qualifications and experience to ensure credibility with customers.
