Our client is a large financial institution that provides expertise in novated leasing and salary packaging. They are looking for a Customer Education Manager / Business Development Manager to join their team in Chatswood on a permanent basis.

The fundamental purpose of the role is to deliver on-site education activities which generate sales opportunities or leads for the respective businesses. The industries and clients that are covered will be In the Health, Government and Non-for-Profit Businesses. Typically these activities will include presentations and consultations in the client workplace regarding Salary Packaging, Novated Leasing and Super Sacrifice.

The role is 90% on the road and 10% in Office (Every Monday Morning and 1 Friday a Month)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and maintain the relationships with client stakeholders in order to gain access to further business.
  • Collaborate in relationships with clients, within designated portfolio, in order to understand the employee demographic and identify best fit product and sales opportunities.
  • Maximise client and customer interest through focused and well executed education sessions.
  • Support and adhere to the agreed sales and marketing plans for the product offering which may occur through multiple channels (e.g. group education sessions, one on one sessions, benefit expos, email communications) for each client
  • Communicate client and customer feedback and information to internal stakeholders to ensure optimal level of service is provided.
  • Enhance technical and product knowledge and sales skills to aid success.
  • Adhere to all internal and external compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Business Development and/or Account Management experience with a minimum of 3-5 years experience managing a portfolio of accounts in a sales focused environment
  • Highly developed customer engagement and service skills
  • Track record of achieving sales targets and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred in sales, marketing, commerce or other business related discipline.
  • Full NSW Driving
