Company Background:
Brentwood Recycling Systems is a manufacturer of machinery used in the recycling, waste and industrial fields. The company is a well regarded business established in 1975, located in Wollongong, NSW.
Duties & responsibilities:
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the following activities:
- To carry out the operation & planning of sales and marketing for all Brentwood products which include:
- Brentwood manufactured products - Industrial Shredders, Trommel Screens, Apron Feeders and conveying equipment which can be collectively provided in Turn Key Plants.
- International agency lines which Brentwood holds distribution rights, including shredding machines, balers, polystyrene densifiers and cable strippers.
- Provide sales & marketing expertise to effect continued business expansion.
- Managing advertising, development of brochures and other product or company information if required.
- Preparation of quotations.
- Provide continual after sales service for Brentwood customers.
- The position will require travel to new and existing clients.
- Provide mechanical engineering support with respect to design, manufacturing and problem solving.
- Provide 3D modelling layout work to support sales as required.
This full-time position requires an experienced person with proven excellent sales and marketing skills in an engineering manufacturing environment with a skilled commercial capability. A flexible approach to a varied work role with attention to detail and high organisational skills will be essential qualities for this appointment.
Supervisor:
This person will be reporting to the Managing Director
Qualifications:
A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Degree preferred) supported by Sales and Marketing qualifications.
Proven computer skills in business ERP software, Excel, Word, Access, Outlook will be essential.
Competant use of 3D CAD packages such as Solidworks and experience with M1 ERP software will be an advantage.
A current drivers license and passport will be required.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a similar environment.
A well organised, active and independent person who enjoys dealing with a wide variety of activities in a business development and engineering role will enjoy the challenge of this position.
Remuneration:
An attractive incentive driven package will be negotiated subject to experience and qualifications of the successful applicant.
