The Role
Due to our rapid growth we are looking to on-board a National Sales Manager to take on responsibility for our sales team and assist with key accounts. You will be responsible for managing our sales reps in each eastern state. This will involve setting targets, analysis of accounts and ensuring the ground team have the right tools to get the job done.

 

Customer experience and care is a huge part of what we do every day. You will need to spearhead this in every aspect of the role and ensure that each and every one of the independent outlets are looked after. 

 

The role will initially be focused on analysing our current customers to ensure they are reaching their full potential. It will involve working with individual sales reps and crunching a lot of data. Your role will be to ensure that our sales reps have the correct information and tools to grow sales with our current outlets and onboard new customers.

 

Based in our head office in Melbourne you will work closely with our Victorian sales rep on the road, communicate daily with our other state based teams and report directly to our General Manager.  Each week you will hold sales meetings with your team and set their targets for the week.

 

This role will progress into assisting with analysis of key accounts and the implementation of a full IPad based portable sales system (Pepperi / Netsuite).

 

Skills and Requirements
 

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience leading a sales team
  • Ability to lead others and encourage forward thinking
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Flexibility to travel interstate - 1 – 2 trips per month
  • Experience with Netsuite or Pepperi systems highly regarded
  • Experience in the Pet industry is preferable but not essential

 

A competitive salary is in offer dependant on skills and experience
