The client is a global FMCG company who is a key player in the consumer health/beauty industry with an annual turnover of around $3 Billion. Having recently brought on a new brand and undergone a restructure due to the level of growth at present, they are looking for a passionate, driven and experienced National Account Manager to join the team and continue their success through the major national and state independent accounts. The focus of the company is to develop a premium / prestigious brand image. If you have experience selling a prestigious brand then you could be a fit for this role.  

The role: 

As National Account Manager you will have full ownership over your accounts, presenting an exciting portfolio of global brands. These brands are well established and recognised within the industry, they are constantly innovating and releasing new products into the market so your portfolio will always be refreshed and updated, allowing you to ensure that your client is always on trend. This is an autonomous role where you will have the ability to create and implement new strategies derived from the identification of opportunities through analysing sales (Point of Sale) and consumer data (Nielsen).  

You will be responsible for negotiating promotional strategies across multiple brands, managing promotional budgets and preparing quarterly and annual plans for each client. 

The successful candidate: 

• 3-5 years experience in an Key Account Management / National Account Manager role within the Pharmacy / Grocery channel
• Experience selling into independents would be ideal 
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills required to be successful 
• Able to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships 
• Analytical thinker 
• Personable, outgoing, well spoken and well presented
