The Client:

Our client is an International supply chain company who provide a suite of services to cater to the logistical requirements of both large corporations and SME’s. They have a strong presence in the global market and a wide network of infrastructure which allows them to offer a tailored solution at a competitive price. In Australia, they have grown organically during the last decade and are now set to continue this trend into FY 2018/19 and beyond. They are renowned throughout their industry as having one of the best service offerings in the sector, they do not sell on price but on reliability and quality.

The Role:

As a key part of this high growth Division, you will manage multi-million dollar accounts a C-Level with the assistance of a field sales team to work with them on a State level. Offering various air and sea international logistical and supply chain solutions our client is positioning themselves as a niche business partner to focus on imported air-freight of dry goods coming in from Asia-Pacific and Europe. As such your clients will be diverse including (but not limited to) FMCG companies to manufacturing companies involved in technology, hardware and white and brown goods. This is a very strategic role and it will be your responsibility to conceive and execute the go-to-market strategy for this division with a focus on developing relations with a portfolio of clients whom already have existing global relations.

The Applicant:

You will be bright, hardworking and self-motivated. You will already have experience in both new business acquisition and managing a portfolio of accounts. As such you will have a good grasp of solution-based selling. You will have experience with international freight forwarding and you will have a strong grasp of the practicalities and challenges your clients will face so you can present them with an in-depth solution tailored to their specific needs.
