Our client is the leading Australian owned and managed exhibition and event organiser, running more than 30 trade and consumer events in Australia and New Zealand each year. Organising niche exhibitions and events that connect people with markets, are renowned for being professional and memorable, reflect their personal touch and deliver long-lasting experiences to customers.

We are actively seeking to appoint an energetic and vibrant Events Sales Consultant based in the Frenchs Forest area of Sydney. Working alongside a team of event professionals you will work closely with companies to achieve their business for exhibitions each year, which in turn attract more than 600,000 visitors and customers. As the business prospers you will play an integral part of business growth attracting more companies to participate in the events exhibitions.

For this position the salary ranges from $55K - $65K dependant on your experience plus commission.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Telemarketing to companies.
  • Ability to convert prospects to new customers and obtain new business via prospecting and lead conversion.
  • Sell the value and benefits of Events against traditional alternative meeting and event venues.
  • Meet or exceed the established monthly KPI and revenue goals.
  • Negotiate and sell customized meeting and event services.
  • Handle the order flow from initial inquiry through the sales process and billing.
  • Events sales focused.
  • Maintain sales database.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive client relationships
  • Identify and analyse client's potential needs and requirements 
  • Present, promote and sell events to existing and prospective customers
  • Work to achieve sales targets and growth
  • Track sales and provide accurate reporting
