About the opportunity:

We have two newly created roles for National Account Executives based at our Head Office in North Sydney. These positions will be integral members of our Grocery and Bakery Retail Sales teams, responsible for all coordination and analysis associated with the National Accounts, including activities such as but not limited to; reporting, forecasting, promotion, pricing, scan data and claims.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the National Account Manager (Bakery) and National Sales Manager (Grocery)
  • Assisting in the implementation and tracking of Joint Business Plan (JBP) category initiatives
  • Consistently reviewing the in-year plan and financial metrics to provide learning to sales teams
  • Analysing to identify risks and opportunities, communicating this effectively cross functionally
  • Managing input accuracy and timelines for Field Team promotional planner and clash-grids nationally
  • Executing and tracking customer seasonal sales drivers to deliver incremental gross profit and volume
  • Partnering with national Sales teams to align and execute volume and NSV forecast
  • Laying ground work for future sales by building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Understanding short / long term priorities to effectively support the Sales team in line with both the Customer's priorities and GF's strategy

 

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce (or related field)
  • Experience in an Account Analyst role or similar, FMCG industry highly regarded
  • Working knowledge of SAP/Promax/Aztec/Nielsen/Quantium highly regarded
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking (strong diagnostic/numeracy skills)
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder communication and influence skills
  • Demonstrated resilience and perseverance, with high attention to detail
  • Passion for food and the consumer goods industry
