The Role

An exciting opportunity currently exists for a dynamic and results driven Territory Manager to join our Engine Aftermarket team to assist our Senior Territory Manager in managing the WA business.

You will be a highly-driven sales professional who enjoys the challenge of planning, selling, promoting and supporting sales of Company products to present and potential customers. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients to achieve business strategy and sales targets by travelling throughout the assigned metropolitan and rural sales territory
  • Conduct, review and update territory analysis, travel plan, distributor sales plans and opportunity assessment within agreed timelines.
  • Work closely with the Senior Territory Manager to actively promote and market Donaldson’s product portfolio through existing and prospective distribution network.
  • Manage and merchandise trade displays at distributors and dealers.
  • Promote the use of Donaldson product at dealer and trade events as required.
  • Coordinate customer requests and concerns working collaboratively with internal Donaldson departments.

To be successful in this role, you will hold the following skills:

  • Strong sales skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus
  • Ability to work independently and within a team,
  • Sound mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to present technical information in a training format to our customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and well developed organisational skills
  • Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Current unrestricted drivers licence together with a good driving record.
  • Flexibility to travel locally and interstate as required
  • Proficiency in CRM systems; MS Office applications and iPhone/iPad technology
