About the position

In the role of Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships by enhancing the customer user experience.  You will also develop new business opportunities through presentations, proposals and tenders. Your main focus areas will be New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, while assisting other regions remotely as required.

Key responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Leading and managing sales and marketing strategies to achieve the market position
  • Working out feasible business plans and supporting the implementation
  • Promoting products, services and brand names actively to prospective customers
  • Providing product support and service according to customer requirements
  • Recommending pricing strategies and sales policies for all sales channels in the assigned area
  • Fostering strong relationships with current distributors and developing new customer base

About you

To join our Belimo family, you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years previous sales' experience in a similar field
  • Knowledge in mechanical, electrical or HVAC with excellent networking in HVAC and BMS industry will be an added advantage
  • Strong organisational, inter-personal and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge in the use of SAP (not essential)
