Our client is a major national distributor of mechanical and electrical products from power transmissions to speed control systems. They import and market a comprehensive range of industrial products for complete electro mechanical, power transmission and speed control systems.
IPA is seeking to appoint experienced Internal Sales Representatives to join an already busy team based in Rowville. Your primary focus will be to respond to inbound phone calls and sales orders, providing technical product information and technical advice to existing and new customers.
Your day to responsibilities will include:
- Managing inbound sales inquiries from existing and new customers with the view to processing sales promptly
- Responding promptly to quotes and following up with those customers
- Keep accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions
- Communicate internally with sales department in relation to customer orders
- Order entry and general administration
About you:
- Ideally you would have previous internal sales experience with demonstrated knowledge of technical products
- Have a mechanical or electrical aptitude to assist you with dealing with technical product enquiries
- Demonstrate excellent customer service during every transaction
- Have strong administrative skills
