We challenge what’s possible, delivering innovation in ever changing markets. We are currently seeking a Proposals Manager who can think strategically and creatively and work collaboratively to present our value-adding offering to clients and help build our growing APAC/Africa business.

You will be an exceptional proposals specialist with the ability to form strong relationships across all areas of our business. You’ll combine your technical skills, understanding of our offering and ability to source input from our technical and project delivery teams with your creative flair to create client focussed content that effectively conveys our unique selling propositions to meet our clients’ goals.

You thrive on bringing together volumes of information into a harmonious, evocative client-focussed narrative and a hunger for the WIN!

Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Support the APAC/Africa region to win new business through the creation of professional quality, differentiated proposals and managing the proposal development process
  • Lead proposal development including, developing win strategy, storyboard content, strategic position, key messages and theme, proposal execution plan development and implementation, budget and stakeholder involvement
  • Foster the bid team’s focus on Ausenco’s value proposition
  • Provide people leadership for a small proposals team, reviewing workload and skill requirements and propose enhancements to team structure as required
  • Establish and maintain internal relationships with all key areas of the business to achieve required collaboration
  • Manage contact, content and commercial in confidence processes for proposal input with external partner organisations where required (e.g. client, consultant, joint venture / partner arrangements)

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Proposal development and management experience in B2B environment. Experience in engineering/construction/minerals and metals sectors highly desirable
  • Project Management / team management experience
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication; keen eye for detail and the ability to convey complex messages succinctly and with clarity.
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging and highly interactive deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to travel on occasions
