About The Role:

This role is responsible for performing estimating and quotation duties as required. The Estimator will work with external customers and internal Product Managers, Project BDM’s, Sales representatives, other estimators, manufacturing staff and Risk managers to ensure an optimal proposal is prepared, with the purpose of growing sales.

Responsibilities include:

• Interpret and understand technical RFT/RFQ’s and their specifications.
• Prepare conforming bids to comply with RFT/RFQ’s.
• Be technically proficient to identify alternative proposals that provide NHP with a more economical, better quality or better engineered solution
• Produce quotations using MAX, and log opportunities into SMP.
• Provide technical & application data to support proposal, i.e. GA’s, network topologies, systems layouts, etc.
• Collaborate with other Project Solutions Estimators to increase product breath in solution,
• Support Business Development and Sales representatives to achieve their objectives.

About You:

The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of Automation products, specifically within the Rockwell suite. You will need to have exposure to such products and understand the necessary specifications involved. You have the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and become a trusted advisor for both internal and external stakeholders

Ideally you have:

• An automation focus with previous experience in PLC’s, control systems and estimating;
• Ability to read and interpret Single Line diagrams, Schematics, Technical Drawings;
• High level of customer service;
• Must be a team player: job involves working with other estimators, project managers, and engineers;
• Experience with Microsoft office products
