The Organisation
Our client is a successful family owned fruit and vegetable provedore with a rich history and network across branches in Queensland, Sydney, Melbourne and the Northern Territory.  They pride themselves on accessing some of the finest produce in the world, originating directly from farmers as well as through established agent relationships nationally.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager (Melbourne) this autonomous role's main directive will be to act as the key commercial touch-point for the business, being able to clearly articulate what the organisation's value proposition is.  Your role will focus on:

• Driving growth within targeted clients (hospitality) through considered business development initiatives
• Maintaining and existing portfolio of clients through robust account management
• Communicating sales effectiveness to management through detailed reporting

Skills Required
Successful candidates will have a resilient, autonomous style, underpinned by strong business acumen within a similar commercially based organisation and have demonstrated success in:

• Increasing bottom line through generated business development/ sales opportunities
• Interpreting P&L's, identifying the main drivers and understanding margins, numbers
• Effective and efficient time management skills
• Developing effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders
