Are you looking for step into Sales/Business Development? A well established, highly successful Australian, family owned business is seeking proactive and personable individuals with strong customer service skills to join their Sales team. 

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for servicing existing customers and sourcing new customers. The role will involve being on the road, account management and cold calling. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Receiving product orders
• Account management of existing customers
• Supplying customers with visual merchandising and POS supplies
• Preparing, sending and following through sales proposals
• Selling company product and services to existing and potential clients
• Effectively investigate and resolve customer complaints
• Maintaining customer records and activity in the database
• Communicating new product and service opportunities 

To be considered for this position you will possess:

• Excellent customer service skills 
• Confidence and drive to approach new customers 
• Ability to learn and retain product knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, time management & organisation skills
• Ability to cross sell and up sell
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a small team
