Our client is a well-funded, innovative consumer electronics brand which has developed proprietary and multi-functional intelligent technology in the wearables category. Their products improve people’s lives by allowing them to seamlessly listen, communicate, and connect to their physical and digital worlds. Since their inception they have grown into a global player and most recently launched their new range at the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Their channels to market are direct, via their own ecommerce site, also by 3rd party sites and via the traditional bricks & mortar consumer electronics and speciality retailers globally.

Given the current exponential and future growth, we are looking for a Global Chief of Sales. This is C-suite executive position and is a pivotal role that provides leadership, direction and resources to the sales team. It is accountable for the overall revenue performance of the business, the achievement of sales goals and targets, and the alignment of the Company’s strategy. It is also charged with ensuring sustainable revenue growth by constantly maximising market penetration. There are currently 3 regional sales leaders in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific who will directly report into this role.

We are looking for a Masters Degree, or similar, in Sales, Marketing, Finance with 10+ years commercial experience in high-level sales roles with a successful background in building rapid revenue growth and managing geographically-diverse sales teams in the consumer electronics space. Given the product category being technologically adept is an advantage, as is experience in working with emerging regional or global brands. Also important is a passion for success and consumer orientation and a strong commitment to delivering excellence to customers, having a sense of urgency and resourcefulness. Given this is a global role a large percentage of travel will be required.
