Position Description

Due to sustained growth in the region and internationally we require a Account Executive with specific knowledge of financials, accounting, payroll and other core business disciplinaries.

A Financial Account Executive is a diverse role, where you will be expected to hold a number of hats that will all relate to providing the best experience to our customers and prospects. You will become a trusted advisor assisting the account management, new sales and other sales and marketing support functions. This position will give you great insights a range of different industries utilising your knowledge of finance and financial systems into the sales and marketing division of a successful growing business.

You will be mentored by the Director of Sales and Marketing who will show you the ropes and set you up to be a key position that our customers and prospects will come to reply on. You will be joining a growing team of exciting and dynamic sales and marketing individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound marketing leads 
  • Prepare and conduct client presentations
  • Complete all sales tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with scheduled milestones
  • Manage client expectations and book professional services to clients
  • Be a responsible account manager for a number of existing clients – keep customer satisfaction high, upsell and cross-sell potential solutions to them in an ongoing basis. 
  • Provides product, service, or technical engineering information by answering query’s and responding to requests.
    • Specific points of emphasis can include the set-up of the Chart of Accounts (COA), Streamline of General Ledger Processes, and best-practice use cases for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) scenarios.
  • Organisation of company presentations, events and other face to face sales activities
  • Complete all operational sales tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with timelines set out by your manager.
  • Ensure that all CRM data is up to date and accurate.
  • Support all Sales team activities where reasonably possible.
  • Gain a sound knowledge of the product suite
  • Become a trusted advisor to all allocated accounts for their financial accounting system and set up.

 

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following;

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic to learn about all things Sales 
  • Exceptional skills in PowerPoint and MS Office
  • Tertiary qualified in accounting or other related business degree, or appropriate sales/business training
  • Highly desirable: a keen interest in Technical software particularly around business improvement
