The company
Our client is a global giant OEM and employer of choice due to their reputation for being able to progress their people's careers further than the individuals thought possible. With hundreds of success stories in Australia they are now looking for a Key Account Manager to maintain and build a critical client base.
This role
You will be handed a portfolio of accounts and there will be a tiered approach with the majority of time focused on Tier 1 clients. You will perform regular cycles and work with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure contract obligations are met. This will involve conducting regular meetings with senior management. Further you will look for opportunities within the accounts to grow alternative revenue streams whilst cementing the long term relationships.
The Person
To apply for this role you must have previous experience managing prominent accounts where you were selling a mechanical technical solution. You must be comfortable in communicating with senior management teams both internally and externally. Ideally you will have managed accounts with prominent FMCG, retail, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or warehousing markets.
The offer
This role has a very generous commission element which is pleasantly surprising for an account management position. Commission for on target performance will be around $30K and they are completely uncapped. Salary will comprise of base + car or car allowance. You can expect to earn in the vicinity for a total package of around $130-$150K in the first year alone and it is expected you will build on your earning potential year on year. You will also be joining a company in a prominent role and your performance will ensure your career potential is maximised.
