A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Consultant to our growing Gym in Townsville. Member experience is key to the success of the Gym and our approach is unique, as are the Gym facilities, designed to give customers the best possible experience! Fitness industry experience is not essential for this dynamic role.
Our sales consultant role is primarily responsible for the execution of the company's strategy through the generation and retention of membership as well as the sale of additional products and services. Using the company sales process, our sales consultant provides a consultative experience for prospective members, retains existing members and generates new business through the attendance of events and activities that may lead to an increase in membership or the sale of products and services.
The role also works with the Reception and Management teams to ensure the relevance and quality of product and service offerings as well as member satisfaction.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Prospecting, including cold calling and finding referrals for future sales
- Scheduling events, attending events and developing sales leads
- Showcasing the Gym facility for potential members
- Consulting with prospective members
- Liaising with personal trainers to discuss services offered
- Creation and management of social media campaigns and content
- Proposing new products and services to enhance the Member offer
- Preparing document packages for corporate clients
- Showcasing the Gym for prospective members,
- Closing sales, preparing contracts
- Monthly business planning and presenting to the business
- Designing promotions to generate new membership
Successful applicants for our role must have previous sales or customer service experience, be goal oriented, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive and proactive approach, and a can-do attitude.
You will also have a current drivers licence, access to your own vehicle, be available to work some evenings and weekends, be computer literate with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
