We are happy to bring to market an exciting opportunity in Sydney for a Software Account Manager. Our client are a huge name in the IT space and currently have an opening in the team for a motivated and driven mid-level candidate.

This role would suit someone with around 2 years experience in an Account Management position looking to join a company with real career progression and great perks. On offer is the chance to work for a leading Sydney tech start-up with a huge global software footprint. Amazing offices and close to Martin Place Station.

The successful candidates day to day will involve speaking with existing customers, discussing how they currently use the software products and ensuring they continue to receive the best care. You will build relationships and ensure customers continue to subscribe to the companies key products and services.

Role Responsibilities

• Managing existing customers and accounts.
• Taking ownership of over 500+ accounts.
• Developing a new Account Management strategy.
• Proactively calling customers in your portfolio.
• Ensure all contracts are renewed (up/cross sell).
• Build strong relationships with your portfolio of accounts.
• 90% over the phone / 10% meeting in person.

Candidate Requirements

• 2 + Years Account Management Experience.
• Ideally exposure to software products or SaaS. 
• Experience contacting/dealing with customers over the phone.
• Experience with entering data and CRM systems (beneficial).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Love of technology and inquisitive mindset.
