Our client manages an Australia-wide Resort and Hotel company and is presently searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to manage the business development activities for a 5 star hotel in Melbourne. Core focus will be on generating business through Corporate and MICE segments.
Specifications and Profile:
- Must have strong Victorian market experience, ideally in the upper hotel segment
- Strong experience and network within Corporate and MICE markets
- Excellent communicator and dynamic personality
- Excellent knowledge of global distribution channels, OTA's and Digital Marketing
- Resilient financial acumen in all sales objective including forecast, budgets etc.
- Working closely with Director of Revenue & reporting to Director of Sales
- Design, implement & facilitate annual corporate sales plans
- Able to negotiate commercial outcomes and secure new business
- Passion for managing and maintaining key accounts
- Team player, great personality and highly motivated
- Can do attitude, proactive and strong marketer
